National property and construction consultancy Wakemans has been appointed by Ashchurch 9 Ltd, a Joint Venture between Chase Commercial Ltd and Hortons’ Estate Ltd on a new office and production facility at Tewkesbury for Moog Controls Ltd, a leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components,
Wakemans are acting as employer’s agent, cost consultant and CDM coordinator on the 44,000 sq. ft. project, which commenced on site in September 2014.
The project which will expand Moog’s existing facilities at Ashchurch Industrial Estate includes the design and construction of a new production facility with offices, together with associated external works. The site is conveniently located close to Junction 9 of the M5.
Wakemans chief executive Dave Howles says: “Moog’s continued commitment to Tewkesbury and the expansion of its existing facilities will enable the company to improve service to its customers and to sustain business growth. It is another positive indication of the recovery within the economy and in particular for the construction industry.”
