Nottingham-based ArtSystems has penned a deal to take on additional industrial space due to expansion of the business.
The deal, which was handled on their behalf by Innes England, has seen the printing technology distribution firm take an additional 15,762 sq ft of space at Unit 2 Glaisdale Point in Bilborough.
ArtSystems already occupies more than 22,000 sq ft at Unit 10/12 – the lease for which has also been re-granted as part of the deal. Innes England’s building consultancy team also provided pre-lease advice and prepared a schedule of condition to limit future liability over repairs and reduce potential costs.
The deal was brokered by Scott Osborne at Innes England. He said: “ArtSystems is a successful, growing business and it is fantastic to be able to help the team secure the extra space they need to continue to deliver excellent results to their customers.
“This additional unit brings the firm’s total occupied space up to nearly 40,000 sq ft at Bilborough, which is a sign of just how well the business is performing.
“Not only that, but this deal is another indicator of the returning confidence in the property market and increasing demands for industrial space across not only Nottingham but the wider Midlands.”
Formed in 1986, ArtSystems originally provided expertise in the CAD and document management markets. The business has since experienced sustained growth and has progressed into the large format graphics markets as well as imaging technology and is now one of the largest value added distributors in the UK.
The company continues to build on its expertise in channel development and support with an organisational structure designed to deliver high levels of service to resellers that helps them build their business and profit.

We have experienced continued growth over the past five years and this new unit emphasises this; ArtSystems now has a turnover in excess of £25 million and employs over 50 people.”
