A business event in Warwickshire attracted more than 450 firms from across the region and was described as a phenomenal success.
Companies from across Coventry and Warwickshire either exhibited at or visited the Chamber of Commerce’s Business & Trade Expo held at Stoneleigh Park with several companies already booking to exhibit at the next expo in March.
The expo was preceded by an international trade breakfast giving companies tips on exporting through a mix of networking and case study presentations. Several workshops and seminars were also held throughout the day.
Peter Burns, Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce president, said: “It was wonderful to see the room so full of companies keen to do business with fellow local firms.
“It’s the first time we’ve held two expos in the same calendar year and thank goodness we did because the thirst for companies to get together and network in this way is clearly there.
“It was a phenomenal success.”
Karen Shuter, director at Exact Logistics, added: “This was the best Expo sofar with great visitors. We have already booked a stand for the next Expo!”
