PZ Cussons has snapped up the last remaining office space within the flagship 80,000 sq ft 4M building at the heart of Manchester Airport.
PZ Cussons, which already occupies some 42,000 sq ft within the neighbouring Manchester Business Park, has signed a 5 year lease for 5,851 sq ft of offices within 4M due to company expansion. The deal signals the full occupation of the building which is home to occupiers including; Etihad, Handelsbanken, UKBA and Kewill.
Kirsty Littleford, Associate Director of Office Agency at CBRE’s Manchester office, said;
“4M has proven to be an exceptionally popular office location due to connectivity which offers excellent public transport links and great access to the NW motorway network along with the high quality accommodation and also the flexible working space at one of the world’s busiest airports. Due to the full occupation of neighbouring buildings Voyager and Olympic House there is now a shortage of readily available Grade A office accommodation at the Airport, which is in contrast to the levels of demand which are increasing for this type of well-connected space.”
Brandon Leigh, Chief Financial Officer at PZ Cussons, said: “This development demonstrates our long term commitment to Manchester, with 250 people already employed on site here; along with our innovation centre in Salford where new products are created, and a manufacturing facility, which produces 170m bottles a year.
“We believe that being based here is good for business as it enables us to bring together our employees from around the world who are working on an important global project.”
