Acting on behalf of a private investor Bridgend agents DLP Surveyors (DLP) have recently been successful in letting a unit on the Brynmenyn Industrial Estate, Bridgend, to Manchester-based EcoKeg Europe Ltd.
The unit, a semi-detached unit of c. 6,400 sq.ft. + mezzanine floor, has been acquired by EcoKeg Europe as part of their company relocation to St Theodores Way. EcoKeg Europe have agreed terms for a new 5 year lease at an annual rent of £26,000 per annum.
EcoKeg Europe are a business involved in the technical beverage packaging sector and who plan to use the premises to manufacture and distribute in excess of 5,000 lightweight plastic beer barrels and kegs per week from the unit for use in the drinks industry. As such their client base includes all the major European brewers and craft breweries such as Magners, Moor Beer & Thatchers with whom EcoKeg Europe are able to fulfil contracts across the UK and Europe.
They are currently installing large blow moulding and compressed air plant and machinery in the manufacturing process and plan to create up to 20+ local manufacturing jobs over the next 2 years at the Brynmenyn site.
