DTZ today announced eight new appointments to its Birmingham-based Rating and Property Management teams.
Peter Fullam, James Potter, Tom Green, Lewis Rollason and Ian Forrester have been appointed to the National Rating team whilst Oliver Bates, Paul Reynolds and Jonathan Browning have all joined the EMEA Property Management team.
Peter Fullam joins the team as an Associate Director from FHP Property Consultants. In his new role he will be responsible for managing key clients and providing Business Rates advice via traditional appeals and also looking at full rates management services including audit and mitigation schemes.
Tom Green and James Potter join as Senior Business Rates Managers from Colliers International whilst Lewis Rollason joins as a Business Rates Manager, also from Colliers. They will be responsible for the rates management of various clients’ portfolios undertaking historic rates audits, financial rates management and rates mitigation.
Ian Forrester has joined the Rating team as a Property Referencer from Ruddle Merz Ltd where he spent nine years. His role will entail providing specialist support to the National Rating Team, including site surveys and site referencing.
Oliver Bates joins the Global Occupier Services team as a Senior Surveyor from CBRE. His role entails coordinating the day-to-day activities of a team dealing with the property management of over 800 Royal Mail properties in the East and South West including break date management, lease liability advice and input to portfolio strategy.
Joining from the Midcounties Co-operative Limited where he was a Property Manager, Paul Reynolds is now a Senior Surveyor in the Portfolio Asset Management team. In his new role he will be providing professional management and asset management services to Calthorpe Estates, one of the largest landowners in Birmingham.
Jonathan Browning joins from Birmingham Property Services, the in-house consultancy for Birmingham City Council as a Surveyor. At DTZ his role will entail managing 400 properties part of the Standard Life SIPP contract, by providing a full property management function, arrears management, managing lease events and applications for consent.
