Harris Lamb has appointed management surveyor Kristie Loakes to its Birmingham team.
Kristie, who has a background of portfolio asset management, brings experience in supporting large private investment clients and overseeing property management on a diverse range of sites, including retail parks, offices and single let properties.
She joins the business from Jones Lang LaSalle and has previous experience with DTZ and GVA.
Gert Corfield, director at Harris Lamb, said: “The business continues to grow, and over the past six months we’ve overseen a number of high profile instructions, including the new Vax HQ in Droitwich, the £10m Freeman HQ in Ryton, and the purchase, refurbishment and leasing of Aqueous3 in Birmingham.
“In order to continue to meet our clients’ expectations we’re currently investing in further developing and growing our Birmingham team, and Kristie’s proven track record will make her a real asset as she assists the team with existing instructions and supports our expanding client portfolio.
“Kristie has a particular interest in considering sustainable initiatives, something that Harris Lamb is currently investing into researching and supporting, and we’re pleased to welcome her, and the experience and insight she can offer into this area, to the business,” he added.
Kristie said: “I bring nine years of property management experience to Harris Lamb, having succeeded from a property manager to a surveying role dealing with varying clients and portfolios, and learning from other surveyors and professionals within the industry.
“I am intending to obtain my chartered surveyor qualification within the next two years, becoming further qualified and adding more skills and assets to the Harris Lamb management team. I look forward to working alongside the team.”
