Portsmouth-based PR and marketing agency, LCM, has recently brought its digital marketing capabilities in-house to satisfy an increasing need for integrated marketing solutions.
Jacqui Malcolmson, Head of PR, Social Media and SEM at LCM, explains, “Typically, people are telling us that they don’t understand how things like Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) work, and the return on investment that they bring. Many have invested considerable sums and feel they have had little in return, and now mistrust the industry. Yet they know they can’t ignore it.
“What they need is a much more carefully thought-through and integrated approach to marketing, which is what LCM has always offered.
“Until recently, we have exclusively used a network of specialist associates to help our clients with SEO and pay per click advertising, but as the industry is changing it’s becoming harder to integrate this kind of digital work with, for example, a PR campaign. So we have recruited our first digital expert to manage and supplement the work of our associates.”
