National parcel delivery company Yodel has acquired new warehouse distribution premises at Access 63 in Selby.
Yodel has acquired a 66,000 sq ft warehouse/distribution facility, with 4.5 acres of additional land for parking of commercial vehicles, for an undisclosed sum. .
Access 63 was developed by Shepherd Developments and the Abtec Group and is one of the largest single owned industrial estates in North Yorkshire comprising circa 100,000 sq ft of new constructed warehouse/industrial accommodation on a site of approximately 12 acres. The estate is strategically located just off the Selby Bypass (A63) and therefore benefits from ideal access to Selby town centre, within the heart of the North Yorkshire region, as well as the M62 and the A1(M) motorways.
This transaction follows the sale of 15,000 sq. ft to Pipework suppliers and contractors Solid Eight at Access 63 in January 2014.
DTZ Director, Paul Mack who brokered the deal on behalf of Shepherd Developments and Abtec Group comments: “We are delighted to have secured such a significant sale on the Access 63 estate. The Access 63 estate provides a rare development of newly constructed and high specification warehouse / industrial premises available on a leasehold or freehold basis. We now have only one building remaining on the estate of 15,000 sq ft.”
DTZ and Knight Frank are joint agents representing Shepherd Developments and the Abtec Group, whilst Colliers represented Yodel.
