Faithful+Gould, the leading integrated project and programme management consultant, has appointed Mark George and Paul Lavelle to their Cardiff office, with both joining from AECOM (previously Davis Langdon).
Mark has been appointed as a regional director, where he will drive new growth primarily in the education market, particularly focussing on the further and higher education markets. Previously Mark spent 25 years with Davis Langdon where he headed up their education team, working on such high profile projects as the £140m Swansea University Science and Innovation campus and the £200m City and County of Swansea Schools Programme.
Paul has been appointed as an associate director to work alongside Mark in the education sector and to also develop Faithful+Gould’s commercial property and private sector client portfolio. Paul worked at Davis Langdon for 12 years where he progressed from trainee to associate director and worked for Mark on their education team. He has previously worked on such projects as the £160m Cardiff University Maindy Road campus and the £44m Penarth Learning campus.
Faithful+Gould operations director for Wales and South West, Neil Brierley, said: “Both appointments are part of a strategic drive to develop the business and build upon our sector expertise in education and commercial property. Having worked with both Mark and Paul during my time at Davis Langdon I know how much they will bring to the organisation. They will combine really well with our existing strong team and help drive continued growth. We now have over 170 staff across the six offices in Wales and the South West, which gives us an unparalleled ability to serve our clients’ needs and maximise the opportunities that the improving market conditions are continuing to present.”
