Whilst the first sod has yet to be cut at an exciting new 400,000 sq ft business park in Kettering, activity within the site is far from dormant says the developer St Francis Group, with significant investment having been injected to deliver Cransley Park to the market.
St Francis Group purchased the 32 acre site – adjacent to Junction 8 of the A14 – after its previous owner unfortunately fell into the hands of receivers. Site infrastructure and clean-up costs have been part funded through a grant by Northamptonshire Enterprise Limited and the existing planning consent permits new development of up to 400,000 sq ft of B2 (industrial), B8 (storage and distribution) and C1 (hotel) uses.
Following the appointment of Gareth Williams, an experienced and respected commercial development specialist, St Francis has instructed a new agency team – Prop-Search and Lambert Smith Hampton. The site is now being prepared for marketing with an extensive re-launch planned for as early as mid October.
Gareth Williams of St Francis Group; said: ““After several years of inactivity in the occupier market we have, over the course of this year, seen an increase in requirements for new space. With a lack of existing stock, Cransley Park is uniquely placed to capitalise on this growth by being ready to go – fully consented and serviced.”
“The message, which we want to shout from the rooftops, is that we are open for business.”
St Francis Group and its agents are already in talks with a handful of local occupiers looking for buildings that can be designed and built to suit individual bespoke requirements.
