The Liverpool office of CBRE has appointed Andrew Byrne as Senior Surveyor within its Office Agency team. Previously at Keppie Massie, Andrew joins CBRE’s successful Liverpool team which has a market share of some 80% within the city.
The appointment follows the transfer of Director Mark Worthington to CBRE’s Manchester office earlier this year and the teams from both offices are working closely as CBRE’s North West Office Agency business.
In Liverpool, the CBRE team is instructed on some of the city’s most prestigious developments such as 4 St Paul’s Square, Royal Liver Buildings and No 1 Mann Island and has completed some of Liverpool’s high-profile office transactions this year including the 55,000 sq ft acquisition of Building 3300, Daresbury Park for Ombudsman Services and the 8th floor letting to WP Thompson at No 1 Mann Island.
John Ogden, Head of CBRE’s North West business and its Office Agency division, said; “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to the team. He has a superb track record and will further strengthen our already significant presence in Liverpool. The North West office market is certainly gathering pace and following our recent restructuring of the division, we are in the best possible position to capitalise on the opportunities of the recovering market for our extensive client base.”
Andrew continues; “I am excited about joining CBRE as it is an excellent opportunity to work with an experienced team on a host of prestigious instructions throughout the North West.”
