Property consultancy Alder King, which has been responsible for many of the major commercial property transactions in Gloucestershire over the past year, has been named as Gloucestershire’s Most Active Property Agent for the seventh year in succession by prestigious property publication Estates Gazette. The firm’s John Hawkins was also crowned the county’s top dealmaker.
Alder King won the award for completing the highest number of deals in the county over the past year, competing against other local and national property consultants in the region. The Gloucester office successfully completed over 150 office, industrial, retail and land transactions in the year ending July 2014, more than double the number of the previous year.
Adrian Rowley, partner at Alder King in Gloucester, said: “We are delighted to have won this award for the seventh year running and are particularly pleased that John has once again been named the county’s top dealmaker.
“Gloucestershire’s commercial property market has powered ahead over the past 12 months, with a dramatic increase in the volume of transactions and the development of over 250,000 sq ft of new pre-let or speculative space. We expect the level of activity to be maintained over the next 12 months as business confidence continues to grow.”
