The Nottingham office of Nelsons Solicitors has announced the promotion of Riaz Dudhia to partner in its commercial property team.
Riaz, who was previously an associate, has been in the commercial property team at Nelsons since 2007 and has risen through the ranks to become a partner at the firm
Known in the East Midlands for his high level of commercial expertise in his field, Riaz specialises in commercial property matters acting for owners, occupiers, investors, developers, pension schemes and lenders.
Riaz, from Nottingham, said: “It gives me a great sense of achievement to be promoted to partner level at Nelsons and it’s an honour to be an integral part of such a market-leading and forward-thinking law firm.
“The commercial property team in each of the firm’s three locations offers a pool of specialist talent and expertise in real estate law and, like the rest of the firm, is very much a client-focused team which takes pride in delivering a professional and efficient service.”
As a partner in the commercial property team, Riaz will also be working closely with the property litigation team on joint projects – providing a cohesive specialist property service to clients.

Riaz qualified in March 2005 and prior to Nelsons, worked as an assistant solicitor at Eversheds LLP.
