Leading property consultancy JLL has further expanded its Exeter team with two recent appointments, highlighting the strength of the market in the region.
Mark Walter has joined as an Associate Director working in JLL’s residential and valuation advisory teams, with Sarah Partridge joining as a Senior Surveyor in the professional advisory team.
Prior to joining JLL, Mark spent seven years working in Gerald Eve’s planning and development team in London where he provided development consultancy and valuation advice to clients in London and across the South of England.
He has particular experience in valuing residential development land and the preparation of detailed development viability appraisals to support major mixed-use planning applications and will be working to strengthen this service for JLL across the South West.
Sarah joins JLL after relocating from a leading London-based UK asset management company where she advised pension funds, individuals and institutional investors in respect of UK-wide property portfolios. Sarah has been involved in the asset and investment management and valuation of a variety of regional property assets in addition to trophy London commercial buildings across all mainstream property sectors. Her recruitment to JLL will see her providing strategic asset management and investment services in addition to commercial property valuations.
Andrew Hector, head of JLL Exeter Professional Advisory, said: “It’s a measure of the strength of the market in Exeter and the South West that we are able to attract some of the best talent away from the capital.
“We are delighted to welcome both Mark and Sarah to the team, who will add much greater range and depth to the services we can offer and significantly strengthen JLL’s regional capability in commercial valuation, investment appraisal and project viability assessment.”
