There will be no stalling in the pit lane when the voice of F1 leads a stellar line-up of speakers at The National Sales Conference and Exhibition at the Ricoh Arena.
Sky Sports F1 commentator Martin Brundle is among the keynote speakers at The National Sales Conference 2014 which is taking place in Freeman Hall 3, Hall 4 and Hall 5 at the Ricoh Arena on Thursday, October 16.
He will be joined by Nadine Dereza, award-winning financial journalist and reporter for BBC, Sky and CNN, Phil Jones, multi-award winning managing director of technology firm Brother UK and dynamic speaker Steve Head.
Completing the line-up at the Ricoh Arena are author and entrepreneur Mark Rhodes, business sales mentor Steve Clarke and Nicholas Oulton, author of Killer Presentations.
There will also be masterclass seminars, an exhibition and networking opportunities at The National Sales Conference which last year attracted 514 delegates and 44 exhibitors.
Ticket registrations for this year’s event have already exceeded expectations and it is on track to be a sell-out conference.
Emma Marriott, of organisers Lincoln West, said this was a fantastic day which was focused on providing sales professionals with tips on how to increase their revenues and maximise their team’s performance.
She said: “The quality of the speakers underlines the high-profile nature of this event in attracting sales leaders and decision-makers.
“Martin Brundle’s Grand Prix grid walks are legendary and he will be talking about his career within Formula 1, starting 158 F1 races, driving alongside Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna, winning the Le Mans 24 hours and the World Sportscar Championship.
“It is important to entice senior management teams so that we can explain the latest techniques, ideas and trends in selling.
“The show has been running for over 20 years and we continue to develop a focused exhibition and educational event to progress sales departments in any industry.”
Chris Owen, senior event manager at the Ricoh Arena, said this one-day show is dedicated to the sales profession and it has the kudos of being supported by the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.
“Successful Selling gives delegates, visitors and exhibitors the opportunity to meet in one place to hear fantastic speakers, share best practices and find out more about the best sales techniques,” he said.
“The organisers have held the show at the Ricoh Arena for the last four years and it always attracts high-calibre speakers and visitors.
“Whether visitors are in sales recruitment or hospitality, there is something to learn from the speakers and seminars and the fact we are centrally located in England means we attract people from all over the UK.”
