Business leaders have welcomed another fall in unemployment across Coventry and Warwickshire.
In Coventry, unemployment fell from 6,752 to 6,613 and in Warwickshire it dropped from 4,783 to 4,620.
Angela Tellyn, partnership manager at the Coventry and Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce, said: “In our last Quarterly Economic Survey, many firms said that they would be increasing staffing numbers and these figures bear that out.
“Another fall in unemployment is very welcome news as it means more companies are, indeed, growing and taking on new people. There is also a move by many to establish their own businesses and our start-up team are certainly seeing fresh enquiries on that front.
“In the long run, that is also good news for Coventry and Warwickshire and the wider economy.”
