One of the largest factories in the South West to come to market is being offered for sale through property adviser GVA.
Acting for Ross Connock and Matthew Hammond of PWC, joint administrators of Woodberry Bros & Haines Ltd, the Bristol office of GVA has been appointed to find a freehold buyer for the factory, located on the Walrow Industrial Estate near Highbridge, Somerset.
At nearly 500,000 sq ft – the equivalent of ten football pitches – and situated on a 21 acre site, the factory is clearly visible from the M5 in Somerset.
Paul Hobbs , Director with GVA’s Industrial and Distribution Agency team says, “The site is an excellent inward investment opportunity, particularly with the focus of attention on current growth in the Bridgwater area.
“A fully fitted modern factory, in excellent condition, the site has potential for multi- occupation through the creation of a business park. Alternatively, it is equally suited to attract a major new manufacturer to the area, providing a gateway for suppliers to the new EDF Hinkley power station project or indeed a regional logistics hub similar to Morrisons at Bridgwater.”
Initial interest has been encouraging as GVA embarks on a national marketing campaign for the facility.
