Clients of a Warwickshire IT company will be among the first to benefit from software giant Microsoft’s developments after becoming one of its most trusted UK partners.
ACUTEC, which is based in Coleshill, was already one of only 3,000 Gold Partners to Microsoft in the UK and the company has now been invited to be a Managed Partner.
The move came because ACUTEC has dramatically increased its spend on Microsoft products over the past two years and the company, which has offices in Reading and London, now wants to explore further opportunities with the firm
It makes the Warwickshire company among just one per cent of Microsoft’s 33,000 partners nationwide which have Managed Partner status.
Urfaan Azhar, of ACUTEC, said: “It’s great news for us and it is great news for our clients.
“This will mean an even greater level of engagement with Microsoft – they are even going to be business planning with us on how we can take this forward.
“We now have an account manager and direct access to Microsoft and have been to meetings with them already – it’s a very exciting step for us.
“And this means our clients will now be among the first to make the most of new developments from them because we will have access to any new products in advance of most other companies.
“We can even, where necessary, take clients to Microsoft’s offices in Reading and London or their data centre in Dublin. They will work with us and help find new solutions for our clients.
“This is a huge testament to ACUTEC – we are very proud to have achieved this status and we are very confident it will bring added benefits to our clients and help us to achieve our very ambitious growth targets.”
