Signs of an upturn in the economy and renewed business confidence are being seen by Cardiff Gate International Business Park as it announces an increase in viewings since the turn of the year and three new tenants on its site within the last six weeks.
Since the beginning of 2014 to the end of July, there has been a significant increase in viewings compared to the same period last year and in a move that reinforces the broad range of companies located at the Business Park, Cumulus Investment Management, Assent Risk Management and Ian Williams, one of the UK’s leading property services companies, have all moved onto the site in the last 4-6 weeks.
Tony Fletcher, managing director, Cardiff Gate International Business Park is delighted with the news and said: “Being located on the M4 and within the gateway to Wales means we can offer a unique setting to various organisations involved in a range of business sectors. We have a high calibre of business already situated here, some of whom have been with us for a number of years and we are delighted to now welcome Cumulus, Assent and Ian Williams to the park.
“The fact we are also seeing an increase in viewings of the park is a clear indication that confidence is beginning to return. It has taken a while but hopefully this trend will continue and we can announce further positive news in the near future.”
The combination of new tenants and an increase in viewings for prospective companies builds on the 4,000 employees already based at the site.
Commenting on the increase in viewings, John James, Director of Fletcher Morgan, the property agent for the Business Park adds: “Whilst we have seen viewings increasing for town centre locations over the last year or so, it is very positive to see prime out of town locations also now attracting increased interest. As well as its location, what makes Cardiff Gate very strong is its track record of retaining tenants and the fact it can accommodate any size of business from 1,000sq ft up to 250,000sq ft.”
