Four new tenants are set to move to Baillieston Distribution Centre, Glasgow, following the completion of extensive refurbishment works at the estate, letting agent Colliers International has announced.
Glasgow-headquartered McLellans Transport Company Limited moves to Units 27 and 28 on a three-year lease, on an annual rent of £37,000 (£3.49 per sq ft).
J&J Pont Packaging Limited, a supplier of packaging for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, drink and industrial sectors, has taken a three-year lease on Unit 26 at a rent of £3.75 per sq ft (£19,700 per annum).
A five-year lease has been agreed with Eastgate Credit Limited for unit 25, a 5,276 sq ft property, on an annual rent of £21,000 (£3.98 per sq ft).
The lettings haul is rounded off with Blue Exhibition Services Limited, which is moving to unit 11 (one of the few remaining units not refurbished), a 2,894 sq ft unit, on a two-year contract and annual rent of £9,000 (£3.11 per sq ft).
Colin McManus, associate director of Colliers International, said: “We have seen a real upturn in interest, following an extensive £250,000 refurbishment programme. The availability of well-presented units and ease of access to Scotland’s motorway network via the nearby Baillieston Interchange, has seen the estate emerge as one of the most improved industrial locations in East Glasgow.”
Denwolf Asset Management has recently been appointed asset manager and joint letting agent at Baillieston Distribution Centre.
