A Southampton-based accountancy and investment management group has appointed a new marketing assistant.
Lucy Farbrother, 22, will be working alongside marketing manager Samantha Greenwood at the 50-strong South Coast office of Smith & Williamson.
Responsibilities include organising the firm’s popular seminars in Southampton, Portsmouth and Bournemouth, which feature topical issues and regularly attract scores of business professionals.
Lucy, who lives in Portsmouth and previously promoted a manufacturer in Gloucestershire, was selected in a rigorous process which included two interviews.
Her first major assignment was the firm’s annual drinks party, which attracted 130 people and was held earlier this month at the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium.
