Acting on behalf of The Pensions Trust, the office agency teams at CBRE and BNP Paribas have secured lettings to Markel (UK) Limited and Chase de Vere financial advisers at Verity House in Leeds.
Markel has signed a 10 year lease for 7,227 sq ft and Chase de Vere has leased a further 4,842 sq ft also on a 10 year term.
The three storey Verity House comprises a total 12,069 sq ft of Grade A office space on Canal Wharf adjacent to the Leeds/Liverpool Canal. The new firms will join existing tenants The Pensions Trust and Radcliffes LeBrasseur, within the building.
Alex Hailey, Senior Surveyor at CBRE’s Leeds office, said; “Canal Wharf has proven to be one of the City’s most popular locations due to combining an attractive waterside setting with close proximity to the train station and all that the City Centre has to offer. Verity House is accessed off Neville Street which is one of the main arterial routes into Leeds, so connectivity to all the motorway networks is superb and inevitably adds to the building’s appeal.”
Geoff Wellburn, General Manager at Markel said; “We conducted an extensive search of offices within the City Centre and the whole package at Verity House worked well. To be near the train station, the motorways and the centre is fantastic and then add in the setting and it was a clear choice.”
