A local firm of solicitors has showcased its commitment to the community after investing in a new office in its long-standing home of Powys, and transforming the space to completely meet the needs of its clients.
With a presence in the town spanning over 50 years, PCB Solicitors has seen significant business growth in Knighton and the surrounding area and has reinvested this in the local community, relocating its dedicated office from Barclays Bank Chambers on Broad Street, to a newly-refurbished site situated on the ground floor level of The Old Butchers Shop on West Street.
The firm’s new office, which is part of a Grade II listed building, will now be open on weekdays from 9am until 5pm or by appointment for alternative times, and will still offer a drop-in session during the town’s weekly market on Thursdays.
Rachael Hughes, Partner of PCB Solicitors, explained: “We’ve been based in Knighton for many years now and are committed to the service we provide to clients in the town and the surrounding areas. The positive business growth we’ve experienced meant that we wanted to develop our service offer further with the move to a larger office that better suited our clients’ needs.
“Helen Barrett, Licensed Conveyancer, and Helen Wyles, Receptionist – both formerly of Medlicott Snows in Knighton – will be responsible for manning the office full time, and will undertake a range of residential and agricultural conveyancing. Both ladies are from the Knighton area and have lots of connections with its residents, further strengthening PCB’s commitment to providing a truly local service at a local level.
“Pauline Davies, Solicitor and Head of Wills and Probate, will continue her established provision of providing clients with advice and guidance on Wills, Probate and Lasting Powers of Attorney. We’re thrilled to be opening the office with a host of clinics around Family, Employment, Litigation, Dispute Resolution, as well as Wills, Trusts, and Lasting Powers of Attorney in both July and August.”
The new Knighton office was officially opened on Thursday 10th July with guests treated to free drinks and nibbles.
