An event management company enjoying its busiest year has consolidated by moving all of its operations onto Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire.
Event Specialists, a company with 15 years of experience in event management, has relocated to the Rural Innovation Centre at Stoneleigh Park to join its storage facility based on the estate.
The company hopes the move will be of double benefit by achieving greater efficiency from being based on one site, and nurturing further expansion from being housed in an incubator for growing businesses.
Event Specialists was founded off the back of director Neil Hampton building up a successful business as a qualified carpenter, providing labour for major exhibition contractors across the UK.
It provides a range of services for event organisers and exhibitors, from overall project management to individual requirements, which includes its own dedicated team of experienced stand fitters and electricians.
The company specialises in shell scheme, a top-of-the-range modular system for creating custom-built stands which can save time and money for exhibitors through fast assembly of the temporary structure.
Neil said: “I believe we are the only company of its kind in the UK with its own labour force which is a great asset. We employ a full-time team of up to 16 experienced stand fitters and electricians that can be supplied as a trusted service for exhibitions and events.”
The company works for a range of clients, from small companies to large corporates which includes Currys, BP, InterContinental Hotels Group and HSBC. A highlight was working on the launch of ‘Team GB’ at the 2008 Olympics.
This summer, the team will be out in force at events such as the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, Farnborough International Air Show, Burghley Horse Trials and Outdoor Trade Show, the UK’s largest trade exhibition for the outdoor industry which is held at Stoneleigh Park.
Neil said: “It has been our busiest year due to confidence returning to the market and more money being invested within the industry.
“Being based on one site will allow for greater efficiency, and Stoneleigh Park is ideal with its central location and as a major venue for events.
“The Rural Innovation Centre provides us with professional office space with access to business support and meeting facilities which will be a great platform for further growth.”
The Rural Innovation Centre is part of the Warwickshire Rural Growth Network (RGN), funded by DEFRA and led by Warwickshire County Council on behalf of the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership.
The Centre was created to help small firms in rural Warwickshire thrive. The building, opened last autumn, was refurbished by LaSalle Investment Management as part of its revitalisation of Stoneleigh Park.
Liz Burkinshaw, manager of the Rural Innovation Centre, said: “The Rural Innovation Centre was created to help small firms in rural Warwickshire thrive and we are looking forward to supporting Event Specialists with its future growth.”
