Innes England has announced a senior appointment following the arrival of Stuart Waite as associate director in Derby.
Stuart joins from BNP Paribas Real Estate in Sheffield, where he formed part of the industrial and logistics team handling acquisitions, development and disposals for a wide variety of clients including funds, property companies, developers and occupiers
He brings an in-depth knowledge of the commercial property market in the region, having provided advice to a number of high profile clients during his career including a secondment to Rolls-Royce’s estates team at Pride Park in Derby, working on transactional projects for the firm across the UK
Stuart said: “Innes England is consistently one of the top agencies in the East Midlands with an excellent reputation and established brand along with an exciting vision for the future, and I am really pleased to be a part of that.
“The bulk of my experience lies within the industrial and logistics market, albeit I have worked across the majority of sectors which I believe enables me to offer well rounded advice. I am looking forward to exploiting that as part of Derby’s business space agency team, working to further improve the service we can offer to our clients.”
Nick Hosking, director at Innes England, said: “Stuart is going to be leading the industrial work we manage out of the Derby office, but will also be working within the wider region thanks to his experience of different markets.
“He brings with him fresh ideas and is a welcome addition to the team; we’re very pleased to have him on board.
“The property market is gaining healthy momentum once more and it is essential that we have the right people to take full advantage of increased activity, and I am confident that Stuart will do exactly that.”
The Derby office of Innes England has transacted more than one million sq ft of industrial space over the last year with key deals including Kuehne & Nagel’s pre-let of a new 632,000 sq ft distribution warehouse for Heineken at Derby Commercial Park and the 200,000 sq ft letting to Ceva to support its distribution contract with Rolls-Royce.
