Midlands agent and auctioneer CPBigwood has won a major new property management contract.
The company has been appointed by Bovis Homes at St George’s Park in Stafford – a new site of 375 plots.
The house builder is currently offering a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes at the site. Three bedroom homes and townhouses are on sale at £177,995 and £197,995 respectively.
The development involves saving the historic Grade II listed St George’s Hospital by turning it into apartments and constructing new homes in the grounds.
The building, which dates back to 1818, was an asylum and one of three similar hospitals built in England at the time to resemble a Georgian country house.
CPBigwood partner Bob Simonds said: “This is a valued new instruction for us and we are very pleased to secure it.
“This is a landmark site of 375 plots. With its rich heritage and modern facilities, Stafford offers great local amenities with health services, schools, shopping, sports and leisure facilities all on the doorstep, and this scheme will be transformational for the town.”
CPBigwood was formally launched on September 1 with the merger of Bigwood and Curry & Partners having taken place earlier in the year.
The firm manages some 15,000 flats and apartments in 450 developments across the country.
