Sian Williams, Head of Geldards’ Private Client team is set to retire after 33 years with the leading law firm.
Geldards marked the occasion by inviting over 60 of Sian’s clients to the Martin Tinney Gallery in Cardiff for a special surprise send off.
Geldards Chief Executive Jeff Pearson explained: “We wanted to thank Sian for her hard work and dedication over the last 33 years that has seen her help build one of the UK’s most highly respected Private Client teams.
“It’s a real testament to the approachable, supportive and professional way in which Sian works and her commitment to client care that so many of her clients came to help us give her a fantastic send off.”
Sian, who officially retires at the end of July, said: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Geldards and can look back with pride at what I have achieved with such a talented team.
“I’ll be leaving behind a team that has the expertise and specialist knowledge to make sure Geldards’ Private Client team continues to go from strength to strength.”
Geldards Partners Helen Downes and Claire Johnson will now lead the firm’s Private Cardiff offering in Wales, whilst the firm’s Chairman, David Williams, will oversee the team’s operations on a firm-wide basis.
David said: “We wish Sian a very happy retirement and look forward to building on the success she has had with the expert team she has helped assemble.
“The team continues to identify the best approach for its clients, whilst working closely with Geldards’ wide range of successful legal teams to help business owners plan for the future.”
