Goold Estates have successfully sold the first part of their Stamp Factory industrial scheme, in their home town of Walsall, to Synergy Biologics Limited continuing their success in the commercial property market.
The two storey, modern, two bay warehouse at Midland Road, known as The Stamp Factory, on the outskirts of Walsall Town Centre, amounting to 24,817 sq ft is part of the 64,647 sq ft industrial complex that Goold Estates purchased in December.
Dominic Goold, Managing Director of Goold Estates said: “Having purchased the complex we have obtained planning permission for a service yard which has made the unit significantly more useable. We are now out to tender on this scheme and will be refurbishing the inside of the reconfigured building for Synergy so that it meets their exact requirements. These works will be completed before the end of the year.”
We have worked with Synergy Biologics Ltd since they first set up in July 2011, leasing them a unit on our estate at Fairground Way nearby. We then let them our own unit on Fairground Way entailing our relocation to the centre of Walsall, when they needed to expand on the estate. So we were delighted to assist them once again.”
Adnan Wahid, Director of Synergy Biologics Ltd, added: “This new facility is in addition to our other accommodation at Fairground Way and will help us to manufacture our new product lines. We have an excellent relationship with Goold Estates and so it was ideal to learn that they had recently purchased this facility which with their help can help with our expansion plans.”
Goold Estates are seeking occupiers for the remaining accommodation of 29,500 sq ft either to lease or to sell.
Having profited from this sale Goold Estates are actively seeking further opportunities in the Midlands area to add to their recent purchase of Lakeside Plaza in Cannock.
