Two legal professionals are celebrating afterraising the bar on their career prospects.
Danielle Chetwynd and Aimee Southall have been appointed as trainee solicitors at Coventry-based law firm Band Hatton Button on Warwick Road.
Danielleinitially joined the practice in 2012 towork as a paralegal and assistant to partner Nick Button.
The 23-year-old has since built up a wealth of experience in the residential property department, dealing with conveyancing matters including sales, purchases, shared ownership properties and transfers of equity.
Aimee, 22,joined the firm as a legal assistant in January 2014 to work part-time whilstshe completed a legal practice course and Masters degree in legal practice at the University of Law in Birmingham.
Both Danielle and Aimeewill now begin their training to become fully qualified solicitors and will work closely with senior colleagues at the practice to broaden their knowledge and experience of the legal profession.
Danielle said: “I am excited to start my training asit will be very different to my previous role at the firm.
“The new role will allow meto develop the experience I have already gained as well as providing the opportunity to learn new skills.
“I should be a fully qualified solicitor in two-yearsand I am really looking forward to the new opportunities and challenges ahead.”
Aimee added: “It is exciting to be able to join such a prestigious law firm full-time after recently completing my studies.
“For my first training seat I will join the commercial property team and I am looking forward to drawing from the wealth of experience the lawyers at Band Hatton Button have to offer.
“Everyone at the firm has been very welcoming and I hope to bea valuable asset to the teamover the coming years.”
