Following the purchase of the Wind River building, South Marston Park Swindon, in December 2013, Ashville have transformed this building into a bright, open plan, office- ideal for single occupancy headquarters or for a collection of shared tenants.
A competition was held to find a new name for the site, following the move of the previous tenants under the same name. Recently, Andrew Hardwick, of William Gunter Hardwick, has been selected as the winner- naming the building Stirling House, in keeping with the historic uses of South Marston Park and its links to manufacturing. On 27th June an event was held to unveil the completed works of Stirling House, with agents attending from throughout the region. It was definitely felt that a change was coming and the market was due to shift, with many agents commenting that occupiers were looking for space and buildings like Stirling House were required.
Gareth Edwards, Director of Asset Management with Ashville, said “Ashville have the confidence in this building to be willing to create much needed, high quality, office space in Swindon.” It is felt investments such as those made in Stirling House, will continue, and will draw businesses to the local area.
The acting agents for this building are JLL and Loveday.
