Specialist gift and toy retailer Hawkin’s Bazaar is looking to expand its High Street portfolio in time for the run up to Christmas. Sole agents, Bristol-based independent property specialists Williams Gunter Hardwick, are now looking for up to 15 new High Street premiseson short term and some longer term leases.
The chain currently has some 26 outlets, and Williams Gunter Hardwick have been asked to find between 10 and 15 more throughout the UK, in prime locations of between 111 – 186 sq m (1,200 and 2,000 sq ft).
“The build up to Christmas is obviously the strongest trading period for Hawkin’s Bazaar,” says Steve Cullis of Williams Gunter Hardwick, “and the outlets do bring something extra to High Street and Shopping Centre locations – creating a busy feel and filling voids as well as driving footfall.”
