Two rising stars at Colliers International’s Bristol office have taken the top spots on the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors MATRICS committee – which represents young professionals making their way in the industry.
Jessica Jones from the Investment Property Management team takes over as chair with colleague Gemma Daly from the Valuations and Advisory team joining her as vice chair.
Head of office Tim Davies said he was very proud that two of his team had been selected for key positions on the RICS MATRICS committee.
He said: “Jessica and Gemma are proving themselves in very demanding and fast changing sectors. It is a credit to them that they have advanced so quickly in the industry.
“As the recovery gains momentum Colliers International is investing in all its specialist fields to service a large number of national and international clients. The connections they will make through the various meetings and activities organised by the Bristol RICS MATRICS network will hone their business skills when it comes to closing the bigger deals.”
Jessica Jones said: “RICS Matrics is the profession’s future today. It represents the interests of RICS members of up ten years’ post qualification experience – providing them with the insight and contacts necessary to make the most of Bristol’s rapidly expanding commercial property sector.”
The Bristol and West Country branch is committed to building links with local business, raising the profile of the profession and supporting graduates through the APC qualification process.
The committee organise a number of events throughout the year including networking opportunities and CPD sessions.
