Bowling and leisure operator Bowlplex, represented by London based agent, James Patmore of Patmore Commercial, has taken a five year lease on 2,084 sq ft of ground floor office space at 3800 Parkside on Birmingham Business Park. The company operates bowling sites at 17 locations across the UK.
Speaking about the company’s move, Mark Sargent of Bowlplex said:
“The location is ideal as it is geographically within easy reach of all of our bowling centres. The premises as Birmingham Business Park will serve as our new head office with 15 staff initially based there.”
Joe Shorney of GBR Phoenix Beard represented the landlord. Joe commented:
“The office facilities at Parkside are some of the most attractive within the region, which is reflected in blue chip occupier names based here. Access to the region’s transport infrastructure along with the campus setting are reasons why companies such as Bowlplex continue to invest at Birmingham Business Park.”
3800 Parkside forms part of four office developments in the ‘Parkside’ scheme. Other tenants at 3800 Parkside include Biffa, Altus Edwin Hall, Port@l Ltd, and Opus Joynes Pike. GBR Phoenix Beard is joint letting agent at Parkside with KWB. There are a number of vacant Grade A offices at Parkside ranging from 1,600 sq ft to 16,000 sq ft.
