The Cheltenham office of real estate services firm, DTZ joined colleagues from Leeds and Glasgow to raise over £2,284 for the Movember cause.
13 plucky participants from the office’s national rating team took up the moustache growing challenge to raise money for prostate and testicular cancer, whilst a further five rating colleagues, based in Leeds and Glasgow, also joined the fundraising efforts. They were supported by a ‘Mo Sista’.
Chris Pockett, Business Rates Manager at DTZ, who has been co-ordinating the Movember team, said: “Whilst we are relieved that our faces are now fuzz free, we are delighted that our ‘taches have gone some way to raise money such for a fantastic cause.”
Last year, across the world, more than 447,000 Mo Bros got on board, raising more than £48.6 million. To date, Movember has raised more than £108.5 million for men’s health.
The Cheltenham team comprised of, Chris Pockett, David Iles, Nick Davis, Jordan Fendick, Mark O’Leary, Marcus Phayer, Simon Griffin, Stuart Smith, Mark Hemming, Richard Williamson, George Wilson, Andrew Seale and Lyndon Ellis.
In addition, Senior Surveyor David White, who permanently sports facial hair, charged people £2 to watch him have his legs waxed, whilst Mo Sista, Danni Gowing showed her support by sporting a fake moustache every day for the month.
