International fashion accessories brand, totes ISOTONER has relocated its Nottingham office following a deal by property consultant Innes England.
totes ISOTONER is the UK subsidiary of totes»ISOTONER® Corporation, one of the largest fashion accessory companies in the US, with operations in North America, the UK, Scandinavia and throughout Europe.
The Nottingham satellite office was established nearly 15 years ago to meet customer demand in the Midlands and northern areas of the UK, and is responsible for the design and development of its range of umbrellas.
The firm has recently taken up a 1,019 sq ft unit at Castle Court, a building which was designed by Nottingham architect Watson Fothergill – the largest industrial building that he designed – in 1894 for paper merchants Simons and Pickard.
Giles Davis, surveyor at Innes England in Nottingham, handled the deal on behalf of the landlord, family-owned property company Rushcliffe Estates.
He said: “totes’ Nottingham-based design and development team is a creative one and, as such, they were looking for an interesting property within the city following the decision to relocate their office.
“Castle Court has a rich history and offers that something different which totes ISOTONER was looking for in its search. Of course, the architectural aesthetics of the building were something that attracted the firm to the offices there, but the design and layout internally also provided the right fit.”
The five-strong totes ISOTONER team made the move to Castle Court in April following the decision to leave their premises in the Lace Market.
Umbrella category director for totes ISOTONER, Sharon Hutchings, said: “We are really pleased with our new offices at Castle Court. Though we are a small team, the nature of our work means that we need a meeting room and storage space, so these offices are ideal.
“They are right next to the canal, which gives the office a lovely outlook, and the whole place has a great layout and a really friendly feel. It’s a great place to work, which I am sure will inspire us in the innovation and design of our diverse umbrella designs.”
