All the offices in Tower House, one of Bristol’s landmark office buildings, are now fully let following a comprehensive asset management programme organised by Bristol based property asset managers, Urbina.
During the past few years, the 65,000 sq ft property in the city centre’s Fairfax Street, has been enhanced to attract office and business occupiers looking for an attractive environment in which to work.
Nick King, director of Urbina says: “We have taken a very proactive approach to asset management during the last few years. We have considerably improved the building and this, combined with the competitive rent and lease terms on offer, has enabled us to attract both new tenants and to accommodate the expansion of existing occupiers; as a result we now have a full house.”
Immediate Media, the building’s largest occupier, has recently expanded to take the balance of the newly refurbished 2nd floor. Other new occupiers to the building include accounting specialists, Nasa Consulting, apprenticeship and training company, T2 Business Solutions and Financial Claims Made Simple.
Jonathan Lipfriend of joint letting agents, Colliers International, commented: “Businesses are aware that quality, contemporary accommodation is in increasingly short supply and Tower House has been in great demand, as it represents a flexible and evidently popular option. It is great to see the building full once again as it shows real evidence of the much-awaited recovery taking its effect.”
Steve Lane of joint letting agents JLL said: “Expanding companies such as Immediate Media continue to be the driving force behind much of the commercial activity in Bristol. Tower House has attracted a lot of interest from tenants looking for newly refurbished space at a very competitive rate with flexible lease terms. It’s great to see firms taking more space as the city economy bounces back to its pre-2007 activity levels.”
