A leading commercial property agent has celebrated a strong start to the year and relocated to new office premises in Coventry.
Reeves & Partners has taken 1,250 sq ft office space at Eaton House, on Eaton Road, in Coventry, after achieving record growth for the first quarter of 2014.
The company has also taken over the management of the building which comprises 52,670 sqft over 12 floors, with parking.
Reeves & Partners, which has an additional office in Leamington, has moved from its previous base at Copthall House, in Station Square, as the building is due for demolition as part of the Friargate development.
The company is one of six tenants now based at Eaton House including the development agency Friargate Coventry, which occupy adjacent offices.
Richard Pomfret, managing director at Reeves & Partners said: “We are extremely pleased to have experienced significant growth across all sectors of the business during the first quarter of 2014.
“There has been a real upturn in the property management side of the business along with a number of significant deals completed on behalf of church, religious orders and other charities for whom we undertake work.
“We have also seen an increase in the disposal of freehold property and land right across the region which can only signal the growing strength of the commercial property market.”
Richard added: “With the start of the Friargate redevelopment project in the city we decided to relocate to Eaton House as it provides a suitable city centre location to base our operations.
“We are also pleased to have successfully taken over the management of the building which includes six tenants from a wide range of business sectors with offices from 1,170 sq.ft to 12,700 sq.ft available to let.
“Companies moving into the building will also get a bird’s eye view of the work that is currently underway to create one of the most significant developments in Coventry for the last 50 years.”
