Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership has announced that BBC TV presenter, Mary Rhodes, will host its Annual Conference 2014.
Taking place on the morning of Friday 10 October, at Chateau Impney in Droitwich, this year’s conference will focus on the theme ‘World Class Worcestershire’. Worcestershire’s place on the international stage will be examined in terms of exports and the county’s appeal as an inward investment destination.
Peter Pawsey, Executive Chair at Worcestershire LEP, says: “Conference speakers are still being finalised, but this year’s event will feature expert contributions from leaders in many specialist fields. All will be sharing their experiences of doing business in the global market.
“In addition, it will be an ideal opportunity for the LEP to bring delegates up-to-date with developments, particularly in relation to the aspirations contained in our Strategic Economic Plan, submitted to Government in March.
“ I am sure that the conference will be interesting and beneficial to all Worcestershire businesses – from large corporations to SMEs – and would urge them to register to attend.”
Registration will open in July.
