Leading national law firm Mills & Reeve has recruited Clare Grice from Squire Sanders to head up its pensions team.
Clare, who will be based in the firm’s Birmingham office and joins as a partner, will develop a centre of excellence for the provision of pension law at the firm, as well as further enhancing its employment offering and cementing Mills & Reeve’s reputation as a leading employment practice.
An experienced pensions lawyer, Clare advises trustee boards of all sizes of occupational pension schemes, as well as corporate sponsors. She specialises in a broad range of pensions law work, including establishing new schemes, winding up schemes, scheme mergers, benefit design changes, risk-management and liability reduction exercises.
Clare, a full member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers, has been highlighted as “one to watch” by Legal 500 and Chambers UK notes she “garners praise from both clients and peers”.
