Leading UK event services group, The Concerto Group, has secured an events space on the first floor of the Royal Liver Building for its involvement in the International Festival For Business as a result of a team effort from three divisions of CBRE’s North West business.
CBRE manages the Royal Liver Building, which overlooks the River Mersey and is one of the Three Graces, on behalf of Royal London Asset Management and the firm has provided additional planning and office agency services to facilitate the occupation of the first floor as an events space. The firm’s building consultancy team is also working on the building.
As part of Concerto Group’s activity in Liverpool it is holding events in association with the International Festival For Business and needed to ensure that it could begin hosting events at the venue from the start of June. CBRE negotiated the lease to Concerto Group and also secured the necessary Planning and Listed Building Consents from Liverpool City Council for the required usage of first floor of the Grade 1 Listed Building.
Harry Bolton, Senior Planner in CBRE’s North West team, said;
“The IFB is such a high-profile event and Concerto Group was seeking an equally eminent venue from which to host its events. The Royal Liver building is one of the most iconic buildings in Liverpool and we are delighted that our team effort will result in the building’s involvement in the IFB.”
Mark Worthington, Director of Office Agency at CBRE, added; “It is fantastic news that Concerto Group has chosen the Royal Liver Building as a base for its North West operations. It is one of the leading event management companies in the UK and will attract new companies and people to this iconic building.”
