Browne Jacobson has advised Adris UK Ltd on its acquisition of MicroCAD.
Adris UK Limited provides CAD software and hardware solutions. The company is a subsidiary of French company Graitec which is one of the world’s leading specialist CAD software developers for the civil engineering and construction industries. The company was founded in 1986 by Francis Guillemard and currently runs operations in eight countries, employing more than 250 employees.
With offices in four UK locations, MicroCAD provides IT solutions to companies and organisations that use Computer Aided Design (CAD) across a range of disciplines including architecture, construction, civil engineering and manufacturing.
The combined company will have a turnover in excess of £17M with over 70 staff.
