Following growing demand for its care and support services, Superior Care is moving its Maidstone office to Hermitage Court, the business park near Barming and close to Junction 5 of the M20.
The Whitstable-based company has agreed a 10 year lease on 1,290ft2 of Grade A offices in Unit G at Hermitage Court, the latest building to be constructed at the successful business park, developed by Gallagher Properties.
Having occupied High Street offices since 2009, Superior Care’s directors identified Hermitage Court after searching for larger premises for its Maidstone branch to accommodate its expanding workforce.
Superior Care provides care and support services for adults and children living independently at home, as well as in residential accommodation.
Since 2006, the family-owned business, which also has branches in Folkestone, and Whitstable, has provided complex healthcare services for people who have long-term health conditions. As a result it has become a preferred provider for many Clinical Commissioning Groups, community nursing teams, case managers and injury lawyers.
Commenting on the company’s decision, Superior Care’s Chief Executive, Stewart Thorp, said: “Hermitage Court is a unique proposition in the Maidstone area. The premises are exceptional and reflect the high quality services that we strive to deliver.
“The new offices, situated just minutes from Maidstone Hospital, will allow our growing workforce to visit us more regularly and access the classroom-based training that will be delivered in our training suite, more readily. We look forward to taking up residence in August.”
Superior Care will join Havas Shared Services, mcch, Kent Community NHS Trust and SECOM at Hermitage Court.
Nick Yandle of Gallagher Properties Ltd said, “We are delighted to welcome Superior Care to Hermitage Court. They are a fantastic addition to this successful business park. We have introduced them to Blue Jelly, an office fit-out specialist who we have worked with many times before, so are confident they will be thrilled their new premises once they move in later this summer.”
Unit G and the adjacent Unit H at Hermitage Court were built on a speculative basis by Gallagher Properties Ltd. Gallagher’s confidence to build two new offices at Hermitage Court during difficult economic times was rewarded when Unit H was pre-let to Havas Shared Services while still under construction.
Unit G is an attractive building incorporating a high quality, low maintenance, cladding system and Kentish Ragstone, produced by Gallagher Aggregates from the nearby Hermitage Quarry. It has excellent allocated parking, and tenants benefit from good transport links with it being only 1.5 miles from Junction 5 of the M20, and a short walk from Barming station, yet situated in a tranquil, countryside setting.
Three Grade A office suites at Unit G, ranging from 800ft2 to 1,517ft2, are still available on a leasehold basis. They can be leased to one business or up to three smaller companies, and are ready to be fitted out to the specification of the occupiers.
