Nottingham-based Midlands Asset Finance, which arranges various types of funding for business, has secured a prestigious deal for a leading Notts glazier.
The facility is for Lee Glass and Glazing (Nottingham) Ltd, which has offices in Bulwell and Sherwood and comprises of asset finance worth over £328k from Santander to purchase a new glass toughening system.
Midlands Asset Finance has worked with the client for several years, having previously helped the company purchase a second factory and also source professionals to carry out the design and build of the extension required to allow the new toughening machine to be installed.
Gary Burns, senior business development manager at Midlands Asset Finance commented: “We are very pleased to be working with a long standing family business in Nottingham. The new deal also included arranging bank funding to allow the machine to be paid for prior to arriving in the UK and drew on my knowledge and experience in the banking sector, as well as the asset finance market.”
Established four years ago, Midlands Asset Finance is headed by husband and wife team Sue and Dave Chapman. Sue is the former senior director of Lombard Asset Finance in the East Midlands, while Dave has held senior director positions with RBS Corporate property and Bank of Ireland Real Estate.
The company provides tailored funding packages to businesses, in particular arranging all types of asset finance and property funding as well as assisting with re-banking and invoice finance.
Midlands asset Finance operates across all industry sectors, with specialisms in healthcare, construction, waste management and recycling, manufacturing, engineering, bus and coach and road haulage.
Over the last four years Midlands Asset Finance has achieved steady growth and last year secured £65m of lending for clients. This growth has accelerated more recently as demand for services has increased.
Lee Glass and Glazing was founded in 1967 and specialises in the manufacture, supply and installation of an extensive selection of glass, windows and double glazing services for both domestic and commercial clients.
