ABZ Business Park next to Aberdeen Airport has signed up oil and gas industry specialist AFS Technologies Ltd (AFS) as its latest occupier.
AFS is a well-established Aberdeen business which provides inspection, installation, assembly, product solutions and training for pressure tools and systems used widely in the energy sector.
MTM Construction Ltd has started work on the multi-million pound development at 3 International Avenue which will comprise of 12,000 sq ft offices and 6000 sq ft of workshops over two levels. The project is expected to complete in November with AFS relocating from their current premises at Stoneywood Road soon after.
Confirmation that AFS has chosen the 54 acre business park as its new home follows a recent announcement that Marriott International will invest £15 million in a 200-bedroom Marriott Moxy Hotel, one of the first of the Moxy brand to be located in the UK.
Other occupiers already committed to ABZ include subsea specialist Bowtech Products Ltd, Axiom Process Management, i2 Office and hotel providers Dominvus Group.
