Compendium Living, the developer behind Derby’s £100 million Castleward project, will be supporting the city’s biggest property event on Wednesday 11th June.
Taking place at iPro Stadium, the Derby Property Summit will showcase everything the city has to offer potential investors, through a range of special guest speakers and expert discussion panels.
As well as co-sponsoring the event, Dave Bullock, Managing Director at Compendium Living, will be part of an expert panel discussing new opportunities for regional cities and how investment is now reaching beyond the nation’s capital.
Dave comments: “We are always keen to show our support for the city and are delighted to be co-sponsoring this event once again.
“The annual Property Summit acts as a fantastic showcase for Derby and gives us the platform to show the rest of the country the major changes that are taking place in the city.
“Local, national and even international investors and members of the business community will be in attendance, so it is great to know there is such interest in the event and Derby itself.
“I am delighted to be invited to take part in one of the event’s key discussion panels on investments in regional cities, while the event itself will provide networking opportunities, helpful information from a wide range of experts and a variety of interesting seminars and presentations.”
The show is expected to attract over 300 visitors, including potential investors and clients from London, Birmingham and Manchester.
Compendium Living has been selected by Derby City Council to redevelop 30 acres of land between Derby Midland Station and Westfield into a sustainable community including 34,500 sq ft of commercial space, and 800 new homes.
Work on phase one is already underway, which covers approximately five acres of land and will see the creation of approximately 16,500 sq ft of commercial space, a boulevard and a new park.
Compendium Living has appointed Innes England as commercial agent for the development, as interest in the new commercial units continues to grow.
Derby Property Summit, which is hosted by financial journalist Declan Curry, will take place from 10.30am to 1pm.
