David Walton has become the 12th partner at Dorset and New Forest law firm Ellis Jones.
With 30 years’ experience in law, he is an expert in all aspects of freehold and leasehold residential conveyancing, including sales purchases re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
David will specialise in lease extensions, equity release schemes, lifetime mortgages and shared ownership.
A keen golfer in his spare time, he has recently been working in the New Milton area as a partner with another firm.
While at his previous firm he became one of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives’ first 100 Legal Executives to become a partner.
As a result, David was invited to a special drinks reception at the House of Commons.
Nigel Smith, Ellis Jones’ Managing Partner, said he was delighted to welcome David.
He added: “As well as bringing a wealth of experience to Ellis Jones, David is friendly and approachable, which helps relax clients and makes the moving process a little less stressful.”
Ellis Jones, a Legal 500 firm, is one of the largest law firms in Dorset and West Hampshire with approximately 100 staff, including 12 partners.
It has offices in Bournemouth, Canford Cliffs, Ringwood, Swanage and London, offering a wide range of services to individuals and businesses.
