Leading independent property advisor GVA has completed a letting at 9 Quinton Business Park to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC), on behalf of the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
The ground and first floors comprising 18,105 sq ft have been taken on a ten-year lease and the building is now fully occupied. The quoting rent at 9 Quinton Business Park was £15.50 per sq ft.
The new office will house investigators, lawyers, analysts and support staff and will cover police forces located in the West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire areas.
IPCC Director of Resources Kevin Woodrow said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the IPCC and for the people in the West Midlands. I’m delighted we’ve chosen the Quinton Business Park as the site for our new office. It offers an excellent location in the heart of the Midlands and I’m looking forward to seeing our new staff arriving in the coming months.”
9 Quinton Business Park occupies a prominent position, visible from both the north and southbound carriageways of the adjacent M5 motorway, with Junction 3 providing outstanding connectivity to the UK transport network.
Andrew Venables, Director at GVA, said: “With a generous car parking ratio and set within an established business park environment maintained to the highest standards, 9 Quinton Business Park is an outstanding out-of-town office location.
“We are now at a stage in the market cycle where available office space is diminishing and this letting is a further reflection of increasing occupier activity.”
Steve Holland, HCA, said: “This letting to the IPCC is yet another feather in the cap of 9 Quinton Business Park and completes the letting of all available space in the building, with the top floor let recently to the Health and Safety Executive.
“GVA has done an outstanding job in ensuring that the building has been at the forefront of potential occupiers’ minds and we are of course delighted that 9 Quinton Business Park is now fully occupied.”
Other occupiers at Quinton Business Park include St Modwen, Serco, the Highways Agency, Wates Construction and Amey.
