Cushman & Wakefield, the world’s largest privately held commercial real estate services firm, has hired Ben Roberts as a Partner and Head of its Manchester office.
Ben has over 20 years’ experience in the North West property market, and a strong record in Capital Markets working with institutions, property companies and private investors from the UK and overseas. His expertise extends across the office, industrial, retail and residential sectors both on the agency side and as a principal.
In 2002 he established and ran Kenmore’s Manchester office buying assets in excess of £175m across all sectors. More recently he has been running his own company, Torran Property Investment LLP, a niche investment and asset management business. He started his career at CBRE before moving to Knight Frank, after graduating from Reading University.
Roberts was also involved in establishing the Investment Property Forum (IPF) in the North of England acting as Vice-Chairman for a number of years and is a popular and well known figure throughout the business community.
