A self-contained office headquarters on the popular Apex Court business park at Almondsbury has been snapped up by another high-tech firm moving west.
Reading based Opti-cal Survey Equipment Ltd has taken a 1,770 sq ft building at Unit 23 Apex Court in a deal brokered by Bruton Knowles on behalf of Travis Perkins.
It is the first time the company, which supplies precision measurement technology to the surveying, construction and engineering industries has opened an office the area – reflecting growing demand from high-tech firms and for quality space in the region.
Paul Williams, Head of Agency, at Bruton Knowles’ Bristol office, said: “Almondsbury Business Park is home to a growing number of companies which need quality space offering easy access to the motorway and road network.”
The two storey office building is prominently located at the front of the development and includes on site car parking for six vehicles. The building has been refurbished for Opti-cal by local office fit-out specialists Amarelle Ltd as part of the deal.
Paul added: “We are seeing increased activity in this sector of the market. With improvements in the economy firms are seeking to capitalise on the opportunities which are out there to grow their businesses and invest in new locations.
23 Apex Court offers flexible open-plan office accommodation and was let within six months of being placed on the market, illustrating the demand which now exists for this type of property. We would love to have more, similar premises on our books to meet this growing demand.”
